How can non-Duke users access my kit?

Guest accounts for non-Duke users can be set up through OneLink or Sponsored Accounts.

The Kits application is not accessible to OneLink users. If you intend to use Kits as a central point of access for external Duke members, request a sponsored account for these members instead of relying on OneLink.

Only two applications in the Kits App store are accessible by OneLink users - Sakai and WordPress.

The following applications allow sharing by link: Box, Confluence (Duke Wiki), Warpwire, and Zoom.

Microsoft Teams

Alternative account access: External users can be invited through Teams to join the team. Part of this process includes the user setting up a Microsoft account if they do not already have one. See details in this OIT document.

Warpwire

OneLink Access? Not applicable as Warpwire allows sharing videos by link with no login required (use the ‘share with everyone on the web’ option).
Alternative account access: Set up a sponsored account for the external user if the external user needs additional access such as uploading media.
Alternative OneLink accessible option: None. Consider using an external tool such as YouTube.

Zoom

OneLink Access? Not applicable as Zoom allows sharing meetings by link with no login to Duke required, although Zoom account is required.
Alternative account access: Set up a sponsored account for the external user if additional privileges are needed.
